Fixer is a mix of chemicals which is used in the final step in the photographic processing of film.
The fixer stabilises the image, removing the unexposed silver halide remaining on the photographic film, leaving behind the reduced metallic silver that forms the image.
Recommended temp. 32° C to 40° C.
Recommended replenishment rate is 400ml per sq mtr.
It has excellent base clarity.
It has exceptionally long working life.
It has excellent buffering against developer carry over.
It has effective squeezing rollers between developer and fixer that result in increasing fixer activity for longer duration.
All usual methods of silver recovery are applicable.
It is suitable for small table top to large through put processors.
It should be store in cool and dry place and avoid sunlight or heat.
Shelf life is 18 months from the date of manufacturing.
