Safety Box is manufactured with Anti-perforation, water proof, portable and special paper.
Safety Box is used to dispose used Auto Disable (AD) syringes, needles and sharps without spillage of contents.
Technical Specification of Safety Box:
Safety box is made of anti-perforation, puncture proof and water proof card which ensures safe disposal of medical sharps such as AD syringes, needles and blades without spillage of contents.
Safety box can be folded, easily portable and it can be incinerated.
Sharp aperture :
Diameter: 38 mm width and breath. It should be visible easily at the top of the box.
Fill line :
It is clearly marked on all vertical faces in black mark. To reduce the risk of needle stick on injury the lowest point of sharp aperture is 50 mm above the sharp aperture and 240 mm from the bottom.
Drop test :
Place the loaded box in a rack in 800mm height and drop the box from 800mm height and inspect the box after 5, 10, 50 and 100 drop and record signs of needle piercing. After 100 drops no syringe should have fallen out of the container; the box should not be seriously damaged and no more than one needle has penetrated the container wall.
Biohazard Marking:
Biohazard Red color logo is printed on 2 long sides of the box
Material:
• Made by special paper, which is easily destroyed by burning with Auto Disable Syringes.
• This tough box has a great anti perforation and water proof performance.
• Color : Yellow
• Cautions: Printed on both sides of the boxes.
Instruction:
• Having a handle preparation from 950 GSM (+50 gsm) Special paper which is also easily destroyable by
burning, for carrying.
• Provision of closing the hole (for dropping syringes) by a flap.
• Box can be made/ assemble by folding at its upper & lower sides/end and remain tightly closed (anchored
tightly).
• Has the capability of carrying & retaining not less than 100 pcs of 1 ml used AD syringes in box for a longer
period and during repeated use.
Destructibility:
Easily destroyable by burning.
